After we have been together at school for a few days we create a class motto and a second grade pledge.
Class Motto
We will become a famiy that will treat others the way we want to be treated.
Second Grade Pledge
We pledge allegiance to the Golden Rule that's in our hearts. We
promise to treat others the way we want to be treated forever and ever
and ever!
We recite these several times a week so students begin to understand the concept of family.
