LEXINGTON EARLY LEARNING ACADEMY
Here are some facts about us:
- Our preschool is funded with State and Federal grants
- Teachers include Kari Coplen, Chelsea Isaacson, Cindy Flint, Shari Frost, Judy McClain, and myself
- We can have up to 20 children enrolled for each classroom
- Students qualify for the program by meeting at least one of the following criteria:
- child is eligible for free or reduced cost meals
- family qualifies for services in the migrant education program
- child had a low birth-weight
- child comes from a single parent family
- parents need or are enrolled in GED or ESL classes
- child has special needs
- 30% of our students do not need to meet any of the above criteria
- All 3 and 4 year old children residing in the Lexington Public School District may attend at no cost to the parent
- Breakfast is served for the AM session and lunch for the PM session
- Children who are 3 years old by October 15th of the current school year may enroll
- Children may attend a morning or afternoon session
- Parent Involvement is critical to our program
- Dual Language is offered
- my classes are taught in English on Mondays and Wednesdays, and Spanish on Tuesdays and Thursdays
