Hi,
I am Mrs. Swartz the Literacy Coordinator for Pershing Elementary. Before I became a Literacy Coordinator I graduated from UNK in December of 2005. I then worked for ESU 10 as a Resouce teacher at District 15 and District 29. The next year I started my career at Lexington Public Schools as a School Psychologist Technician for the 2006-2007 school year. Then for the 2007-2008 school year I was a Reading Specialist. Now this year 2008-2009 school year I am the Pershing Literacy Coordinator.
I am newly married as of June 7th, 2008. My husband Kevin and I live in Kearney with our dog Copper. We all enjoy being outdoors when we can. I hope to inform everyone on what is new and going on in the Reading Room.
