Basketball Invitational
 Saturday, January 14th, fifteen teams
from the metro area, Lexington, and West Point competed in the first
Boys Town Special Olympics Basketball Invitational at Palrang Field
House. Children and adults partcipated in the one-day tournament.
Some teams played full-court, five-on-five, half-court, three-on-three,
and skills with Boys Town students and Special Olympics coaches. Boys
Town residents served as referees, scorekeepters, and time keepters.
Others just cheered for the athletes.
We played full court basketball. We competed against Columbus male and
Madonna male teams. Our team consisted of Arturo, David, Jr., Jose,
Abby, Dana, Luis, and Evert.
