Advanced Scholars Program

The Advanced Scholars Program is a cooperation between the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and Lexington High School to offer college level classes for college credit to high school students. There is no need to travel to Lincoln to take these courses because all of the classes are offered by computer here in Lexington.
In order to qualify for this program you need to:
- Be at senior standing or identified as a high ability learner or gifted by the high school.
- Complete pre-requisit high school coursework with a "B" average or higher.
- Hold an overall 3.0 or higher GPA(Grade Point Average)
- Have earned an ACT composite score of 22 or higher.
- Have the approval of high school counselor and principal.
The cost of the course includes:
- $45.00 one-time application fee
- $100.00 per credit hour (campus students pay 160)
- Books and material as required
- No other University fees
