Chamber of Commerce-Blanche Senior Scholarship

The Blanche Senior/Chamber Memorial Scholarship



The Lexington Area Chamber of Commerce has established a scholarship fund to help students further their education and training beyond high school in an accredited institution of higher learning.  This scholarship will be in the amount of $1,000.

Qualifications

Any graduating senior from Lexington High School who is planning to attend an institution of higher learning during the following school year is qualified to apply.

Instructions To The Applicant

Each applicant should complete the common application.   Please submit three letters of recommendation.   One of the recommendations  must be from a source outside the school.  Please include a recent photograph of yourself with the application.
Selection of the recipient will be based on the content of your letter of application and your references.  The scholarship will be awarded at Honors Night by a member of the  the Lexington Chamber Business- Education Committee.  Payment will be made to the student after you have completed your first semester of college.  Submit grades to Chamber Office.
