Lexington Athletic Booster Club Scholarship

Description

    The Lexington Athletic Booster Club Scholarship was established by the Lexington Athletic Booster Club to honor one male and one female graduating Lexington High School athlete.  Each scholarship is $1,200.

Qualifications

    Recipients must have participated in at least two athletic activities each year grades 9-12.  Consideration will also be given to participation in extra-curricular activities and leadership skills displayed through community involvement.

Instructions

    1.  Complete the attached application. Booster Application (writable pdf)
   
    2.  Include 3 letters of recommendation:

    *One written by a coach whose sport the applicant has participated
    in during his or her junior or senior year.

    *One written by an instructor from the applicants junior or senior year.

    3.  Attach student resume.

    4.  Write a brief paragraph explaining how being an active participant
    and showing strong leadership in both school and community activities has             prepared you for a successful college career as well as future life.

    5.  Please attach a recent photograph.

Payment

    Payment of this scholarship will be upon completion of the 1st semester of college with a G.P.A. of 2.0 or above.  Proof of full-time 2nd semester registration will also need to be included.  This information should be presented to the Lexington Athletic Booster Club Board.
